High Fashion and Haute Couture

High Fashion (the best designs within a certain style), is a term for textiles, created by artists and designers, for a discriminating market of clients and boutiques, that are made to each customers individual measurements.

Haute Couture is French for "high sewing" or "high dressmaking". These designs are the most exclusive, often unique pieces, created for a specific client.

This design is called Broadleaf color Withered Spruce.
The motif is inspired by 18th Century English fabric design.
This piece has been recolored and rescaled
to please the modern transitional design sensibility.
